A Secret No More: Successor to Lincoln Town Car Named

With the sun setting on our beloved industry workhorse, the Lincoln Town Car, many industry professionals have been waiting with baited breath for the announcement from Ford for the future of our fleet vehicles.  As promised, in advance of the Paris Auto Show, the information was delivered.  Meet the Lincoln MKT Livery, slated to be the standard for the next generation of chauffeured vehicles.  

Exact details on the specifics of the livery package remain to be seen.  However, early indications include large cargo/luggage capacity, onboard Wi-Fi and comfort creatures will abound.  With an increase in second row passenger room that offers reclining seats, USB ports and power outlets and vanity mirrors, customers will be well attended while traveling in style.

Important safety enhancements that we are excited to see include rear-view cameras and blind spot information systems (Ford’s BLIS®). You can also get one of these Dash cams reviewed, to have footage in case you get in an accident. As a northeast based operator, our biggest excitement in this announcement comes in the form of an all-wheel drive option.  Gone will be the challenges of maintaining a rear-wheeled drive fleet in the cold, harsh and unforgiving New England winters.
