Surviving a Summer Road Trip

Are you planning on packing the family up this summer for some sort of road trip?  Does the thought of long hours spent in the car set you on edge?  Looking for some ideas to occupy little ones?  Interested in saving money? Keep reading!

Check your car:  Prior to hitting the road, make sure your vehicle is road ready.  Common items to check include windshield washer fluid levels, tire pressure, oil and even your wiper blades.  If it’s been awhile, a tune up may be in order.  It is far better to find out before the trip that everything is in working order (or that some fixes are needed) rather than on the side of the highway, with no cell service and a car full of cranky travelers.
